Four models you can actually handle

Place every fret and read the intonation error, work a neck through relief and action, change a bracing pattern and watch the stiffness move, and walk a whole setup from relief to intonation. All four are built from the same numbers the reference pages use.

These are teaching simulationsEvery model here is an approximation built to show a principle. Real necks, real tops and real strings behave with more variation than any model captures. Follow the manufacturer’s specifications for your instrument when you work on a real guitar.

How the 3D tools load

The 3D libraries are only fetched when you open one of these pages, and on a small screen each tool opens as its static reference version until you ask for the interactive one. If your browser or device has no WebGL, every tool falls back to a static model that carries the same figures and the same steps.

Best on a desktop

The models are built for a mouse and a larger viewport. On a phone they open as the static reference and offer a button to load the 3D version anyway.

No external requests

The 3D library, the textures and every illustration are served from this site. Nothing is fetched from a CDN and no model file is downloaded.

Reduced motion respected

If your system asks for reduced motion, automatic rotation, the vibration animation, camera moves and the tuning chime are all switched off.
